York Youth League provides youngsters aged between 12 and 16 the opportunity to play football in a competitive but very friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We meet every two months at Archbishop Holgate's School (York) on a Sunday afternoon to share fellowship together through football. The format is very simple - every time we meet, everybody plays everybody and at the end of the day, the winning team are crowned tournament winners and go home victorious with the trophy. At the end of the year all the results from all the tournaments are collated and the overall league winners receive the league championship trophy. In short - it's great fun, combining faith, friendship and football (a winning formula) to great effect. We are always looking for new teams to join and so if you are interested in knowing more about the league please do not hesitate to get in touch.
